Family Counseling Center

The Family Counseling Center provides professional counseling for children and their families in Broward County. Our team of highly trained professionals support children needing additional support with foster care and adoption, as well as, treating a wide range of childhood issues including infant mental health, positive parenting, grief/loss, divorce issues, anger issues, ADD/ADHD, anxiety, and school adjustment issues.

Additional Information

The Family Counseling Center accepts private pay, most Medicaid plans, and free or low-cost co-pay services for qualifying children.

Adoption Support

Adoption Support provides vital care before, during, and after an adoption to ensure the success of the family. KID provides individual therapy, family therapy, and support groups for parents and children.

KID Dental Clinic

The Dental Clinic at KID is a collaborative partnership with Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine to bring quality, affordable dental care – both routine and urgent – to thousands of children who could not otherwise afford it. Dental students, overseen by NSU faculty, provide preventive care and education so children learn that oral hygiene and keeping up with regular dental visits are important components of a healthy lifestyle.

Other services offered at the KID Dental Clinic include orthodontics and periodontics.
