The Family Counseling Center provides confidential and professional counseling for children and their families. In addition to treating issues associated with foster care and adoption, licensed and license-eligible therapists treat a wide range of childhood issues including infant mental health, positive parenting, grief/loss, divorce issues, anger issues, ADD/ADHD, anxiety and school adjustment issues, among others.
The Family Counseling Center accepts private pay, most Medicaid plans, and, free or low-cost co-pay services for qualifying children. Referrals can be made by calling (954) 567-5559.
At the KID Dental Clinic, the emphasis is on preventive care and education so children learn that oral hygiene and keeping up regular visits to the dentist are important components of a healthy lifestyle. The KID Dental Clinic, supported by dental students and faculty from the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, delivers affordable, quality dental care – both routine and urgent – to thousands of children and families who couldn’t otherwise afford it.

Designed to meet the ocular and visual needs of patients, The Eye Care Institute at KID, supported by the Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry, provides comprehensive eye care using state-of-the-art technology. The institute offers services including cornea and contact lens care, pediatric and binocular vision, low vision rehabilitation, neuro-optometric vision, and is a center for advanced care and special testing for ocular diseases like glaucoma, diabetes, and macular disease.
