Becoming a volunteer at Kids In Distress (KID) means getting involved in your community and helping to make it a better place for children and families.
A KID volunteer is someone who commits time and effort to help in ways that allow the organization to operate efficiently and effectively to meet our goals and objectives in the community. Many opportunities are available to assist with fundraising events, in-kind drives, and administrative tasks as well as group projects with the children on campus and with families that we serve.
There is nothing more rewarding than being part of the solution to a problem. KID is a leading force and authority in the prevention of child abuse and the treatment of abused children, and a premier agency advocating for the development of children’s services in our community.
Being part of the solution means creating a better community, making South Florida a better place to live and to work for everyone.
