Preschool PLUS
KID Preschool PLUS provides a highly-structured, full preschool curriculum specializing in children from six weeks to twelve years with developmental delays, acting-out behavior, and other special needs. Children receive personalized attention and Individual Education Plans (IEPs), all with the ultimate goal of preparing them to enter mainstream kindergarten at the same learning level as their peers.
KID Preschool PLUS supports full time early education specialists, teachers and therapists to guarantee that all your children’s needs are met and that all services they receive are well integrated. These “Plus” services can include any of the following: individual assessments, evaluations, therapeutic services (play therapy, family and group therapy, occupational, speech, and physical therapies), parent support services, and early intervention services.
KID Preschool PLUS supports full time early education specialists, teachers and therapists to guarantee that all your children’s needs are met and that all services they receive are well integrated. After School and Summer Camp
After School and Summer Camp programs serve more than 100 vulnerable children ages five through twelve in a safe, structured environment. Children enjoy activities that encourage academic and creative abilities, enhance their social skills and promote the benefits of good nutrition and physical exercise.
Infant Care
KID Preschool Plus also provides a first-class infant childcare program, where babies from six weeks through one year are cared for in a warm, loving environment. Studies have shown that babies learn the most in their lives before they turn three, and our highly-trained, experienced staff is committed to ensuring that our programs enhance all aspects of their social, emotional and physical development, while promoting learning and curiosity about the world around them.
Respite Care
KID provides respite care on both an hourly and daily (24-hour) basis to children with special healthcare needs such as Spina Bifida, Down’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy etc. Referrals are made either through the Special Needs Advisory Council (SNAC) or by the parents and caregivers of the children.
